“Last Seen: 10:47 PM”
It’s half past eleven at night—
your name still glows on the screen,
but beneath it,
just a line that says,
“Last seen at 10:47 PM.”
Since then,
no message,
no laughing emoji.
Only a time —
frozen somewhere
between your leaving
and my waiting.
How strange it is —
once you appeared “online”
every five minutes,
and now,
a single last seen
tells the whole story.
I’ve stared at it so often—
the same time,
the same blue ticks,
as if someone
deliberately paused the clock.
Maybe now you’re smiling
in another chat,
or asleep,
or you’ve simply forgotten
that someone’s waiting
is still stuck
at 10:47 PM.
And I
each night,
read that last seen again,
like a page
where love signed
its final word —
without ever pressing “send.”
